Overview

The 'HaloRC RGB LED Kit' is primarily designed for racing drones that are required to have multiple LED's that can change colour to match those asigned to each of the pilots at race events.

The upcoming '2024 FAI World Drone Racing Championship' is being held later this year in China, and pilots are required to have four LED's on the top and bottom of each arm with the ability to change colour. We created this set of arm mounted LED strips that feature four upward facing, four downward facing and two outward facing LED's for each arm, to fully comply with this regulation.

The LED strips are powered by the LED Hub, featuring a high quality 3amp BEC that takes its power directly from your battery (up to 8s!). The LED Hub also has four 3-Pin JST-SH connectors (same as most FC's use) that you connect the LED strips to. The LED data line comes from your flight controller, into the hub, and is then sent out to each of the LED strips. Changing colours is easily done through Betaflight and you can even setup a switch to remotely select the colour.
