Overview

The 'HaloRC Blackmagic Micro Studio Camera Button Extension' is designed to make opperating this camera easier, especially outside of a studio environment. If you often find yourself fumbling around with the mushy buttons on the front of the micro studio camera, then this is the product for you.

Designed to integrate with all versions of the Micro Studio Camera, this non destructive modification is easy to install yourself and will transform the way you use the camera. It is also a simple process to revert back to the original button setup.

There are two options available. The 'Standard' option is the perfect length for securing the button box to the top of the camera (as photographed). While the 'Extendable' version uses an FFC ribbon cable and connector allowing you to secure the button box in an alternate location.

The 'HaloRC BMMSC Button Extension' replaces the original buttons with a dummy plate that has a small opening out of where the record button once was. Our custom ribbon cable is then plugged into the back of the sensor and feeds up through this opening, and is then plugged into the button box.

The button box provides six tactile buttons, each labeled for easy identification, and is secured using a single 1/4 inch bolt. The chunkier buttons have a nice tactile feel and a satisfying click on every press.

By making the buttons far easier to press you can now navigate the menu interface at a much faster pace, vastly reducing the time it takes to change settings on the fly.
