Frame Overview

The Osiris V2 is the first iteration of our popular lightweight freestyle frame. Staying true to the original frame, the Osiris V2 is a sub 100g 5 inch frame designed for carrying an action camera. The Osiris V2 now offers an optional HD camera mount that integrates into the frame and allows you to adjust the angle of your camera from 0-30 degrees.

Expanding on our original spine concept, the Osiris V2 uses two spines with interlocking arms to create unparralelled levels of stiffness. Adding so much rigidity while keeping the weight down has resulted in the perfect frame for both hardcore or juicy freestyle flying.

We have grown tired of seeing so many frames using the built in mounting fingers of the GoPro to mount the action camera. Although this is a simple solution, it is not one that has ever offered any form of durability, and also raises the camera quite high off the frame resulting in worse balance and centre of gravity.

The Osiris V2 can be fitted with our new HD camera mount that offers pilots an adjustable camera angle from 0-30 degrees. This mount holds your action camera securely in place while keeping it as low profile as possible. The angle is locked in place by two bolts that attach to the vertical plates.

By using a mix of carbon fiber and TPU has allowed us to create a mount that is not only secure and durable, but can also be adapted to fit almost any action camera. Whether you are running a GoPro or DJI, our adjustabe mount can be used to provide the best mounting solution for your HD camera.

Osiris V2 Frame

The Osiris V2 can be fitted with almost any video transmission system currently on the market. We recommend the DJI O3 Air Unit, or the DJI Vista. We have created a range of TPU parts for mounting DJI antennae and cameras securely to the frame. They are available to purchase or to download for free and print yourself, along with the HD camera TPU parts.

There is plenty of space behind the FPV camera for fitting a 1000uf 35v capacitor with the provided TPU print. There is also enough room left to fit your control link receiver (RX) and to route the antennae to be mounted on the arms.

Our new interlocking arm method uses one main bolt per arm with the second bolt being shared by two arms. This is acheived by removing half the thickness of the carbon allowing the arms overlap and be secured together with a single bolt.

The two spines butt up against the arms and are then secured in place using the stack bolts. This minimises hardware weight while maximising the effectiveness of the spines. The interlocking arms and the dual spines work together to form a very rigid centre section of the frame to reduce vibrations picked up by your flight controller.

The Osiris V2 can only be fitted with a 20x20 stack. We have done this so that users have the best experience with no comprimises made to accomodate 30x30 stacks that are a bit overkill on a five inch drone.
