The 'HaloRC DJI SDR Mount' is designed to make mounting the DJI SDR to a camera as clean and simple as possible. By utilizing the battery bay of both the camera and the SDR unit has allowed us to create mounts designed for a wide range of cameras and applications.
To ensure a a tight fit with very little movement, we developed an anti-wiggle system that uses neoprene pads. This is particularly useful when attaching the camera to a drone where vibrations are a concern.
Each mount is made out of high quality MJF printed nylon. Outlined below is a description of each mount and its intended use case.
LP-E6 Mount
The LP-E6 mount provides a raised mounting point for the SDR TX unit. By raising the SDR slightly allows you to still use you camera on a short style adjustable angle camera mount without the unit getting in the way.
The HDMI port of the Studio G2 and the TX unit are aligned and there is a slot that runs through the mount so that you can route a ribbon style HDMI cable through to connect the two cleanly.
LP-E6 SSD Mount
This version of the LP-E6 mount adds a mounting point for an SSD drive, specifically the same SSD drive used to create our standard LP-E6 SSD mount. Available without the SSD drive or in a 512gb or 1tb version.
This mount also features a cutout for attaching the USB-C cable to cleanly route it to the G2, along with the HDMI ribbon cable slot that runs through the mount.
NP-F (Straight) Mount
The NP-F (Straight) mount is designed mainly for ZCAM cameras. Most of these cameras have the HDMI connector directly above the NP-F battery bay. So this mount lowers the SDR TX unit so that this connector is accesable.
The slot on this mount is vertical and allows you to run a ribbon style hdmi cable cleanly through the mount and into the SDR unit.
Naked BMPCC Sensor Mount
This mount has been designed for the HaloRC NAKED BMPCC V2 4K and 6K-E cameras. The Naked BMPCC Sensor mount attaches to the back of the sensor case and raises the DJI SDR TX unit slightly.
When running your battery in a toilet tank configuration you can still get the camera angle all the way back to the highest angle.
